The Phantom Killer – The Town That Dreaded Sundown
The Texarkana Moonlight Murders were performed by a still unknown assailant known as “The Phantom Killer” who murdered five people in the spring of 1946 in a 10-week period (though none were murdered with a trombone). Curfews were set and the town of Texarkana was pretty much locked down beginning at dusk. The killer was never caught and to this day has never been identified.
