THE EXORCIST
I actually hadn’t watched this film until it was rereleased about fifteen years ago, and I’m glad I finally did. While it’s easy to focus on how scary it is, THE EXORCIST is, above all else, an extremely well crafted movie. And then, once you’re done marveling at that craftsmanship, you remember how scary the movie was and proceed to crap your pants for the next three to four weeks of your life.
