5 Reasons Why Canceling ‘Silent Hills’ Makes No Sense

1. They had Hideo Kojima

The respect that the video game community has for this man is legendary. The Metal Gear franchise consistently ranks as some of the highest rated video games ever released and it has shipped over 30 millions copies worldwide over its legacy, which isn’t even including The Phantom Pain.

Kojima is also the head of Kojima Productions, which created Fox Engines, a game engine that displayed some truly breathtaking graphics and was highly lauded by tech websites.

What that combined into was a studio that would be able to write an amazing, deep, rich story and back it all up with stunning visuals, something that would only enhance the atmosphere that is so desperately needed with a game like Silent Hill.
