Norman Reedus has become one of the most popular actors in a horror title thanks to his role as Daryl in The Walking Dead. He’s so popular that fans have made it very clear over the years that, “If Daryl dies, we riot!”
By having Reedus as the main character of Silent Hills, it opened the franchise to a whole new audience of people that may have never played the previous games but would’ve happily started. The sales from Reedus fans alone would been staggering.
