The Menendez Murder House (Beverly Hills, CA)
Lyle and Erik Menendez’s names covered the headlines in 1989 after they shot both of their parents with a shotgun. The parents were each shot in the kneecaps and their faces (the mother would be unrecognizable when her body was discovered) and the brothers would not be incarcerated until an eventual retrial (the first one resulted in a hung jury) in 1996.
