The Last of Us
The Last of Us was the best game of 2013, and it is arguably one of the best post-apocalyptic tales ever told. A film adaptation is supposedly already in the works, but I won’t believe it until it actually starts filming. Set in the near future after a fungal virus has decimated the majority of the world’s population, The Last of Us features one of the most touching relationships ever put in a video game and some of the scariest monsters you will ever encounter (seriously, those Clickers are terrifying). I truly hope this film adaptation comes to fruition, but it will never be able to capture the heart of the game.
