Until Dawn
Until Dawn would be rather difficult to make into a film, if only because taking the “choose your own adventure” aspect of it kind of takes a lot of the fun out of it. That being said, the game did a great job of poking fun at the horror genre, while also embracing everything that we love about it. Out of all the games on this list, it is also the most cinematic, lending itself perfectly to the medium. Bonus points if they could get the whole cast to reprise their roles in the film.
I grew up solely on Nintendo games. From SNES to N64 to GameCube and then a Wii. I didn’t get into more “adult” games until my early 20s, so forgive me for including more recent titles on this list, but what are some other video games that you would like to see get turned into horror films?
