Twisted Metal
Sure, Twisted Metal is mostly a car game, but the underlying story is absolutely horrific. Plus, if Mortal Kombat can be adapted into a film, so can Twisted Metal. Going strong for 20 years, Twisted Metal tells the tale of the Twisted Metal vehicle tournament hosted by a mysterious man known as Calypso. In it, contestants must fight to the death in their vehicles, and the winner will be granted one wish by Calypso. Of course, the winner’s wish usually gets twisted (sorry) around to work against them. The narrative in the games is pretty thin, but that allows for a lot of wiggle room if a film adaptation is made. As long as it stuck true to the dark humor and brutal violence of the games, a Twisted Metal movie could be a lot of fun.
