Sinister 2
By this point, you’ve probably noticed a trend in my taste for horror movie trailers: I love it when they feature non-horror songs during the closing montage. In this case, the use of Henry Hall’s “Hush, Hush, Hush (Here Come’s the Boogeyman)” elevates the trailer from Sinister 2 from “good” to “great.” While the use of a record player may be overdone (The Strangers, anyone?), it’s the perfect juxtaposition to all of the horror happening on the screen. Plus, it’s really creepy.
