Resident Evil: Extinction (2007)
This scene’s got it all: Mad Max-style scrap vehicles, swarms of vicious zombie crows descending from the sky and ripping off folks’ faces, massive flamethrowers that go disastrously haywire, and… well, whatever the hell supernatural business Alice has going on here. There’s actually a lot more to the scene than shown above (this was the best clip I could find; the rest were too low-quality to be tolerable), but it’s one of the most exciting and suitably apocalyptic in the series. I’m not sure of the exact body count, as it happens so quickly amid the feather-flapping chaos, but the attack reduces the number of Raccoon City survivors led by Claire (Ali Larter), and the heroic self-sacrifice of the nurse (Ashanti) is grisly stuff.
