5 Horror Games That Would’ve Made Better Movies!

DreadOut

GTM_2

As far as issues go, DreadOut may have the most on this list. They also happen to be game-y problems similar to what plagued P.T. and Among the Sleep. Clunky controls, muddled direction, a little too much backtracking and tedium, etc. Basically, it’s all stuff that a movie can easily fix.

DreadOut may have lured us in with its Fatal Frame-inspired foundation, but it’s the monsters that will keep you from leaving until the credits roll and the creepy voices start singing. This game has a diverse cast of thoroughly freaky monsters. Impossibly large boars with human faces, ghosts that fade in and out of existence at will, whatever the fuck this is…

DreadOut

Imagine seeing that wall-running at you on a giant screen and tell me this wouldn’t make for a solid movie. If you’re still not sold on it, I’ll ask you to picture it again, this time in 3-D.
