You Can Buy Leon’s Jacket From the ‘Resident Evil 4’ Remake (For a High Price)
So we’re all chomping at the bit for more info on the Resident Evil 4 remake. Well, did you know that Leon’s jacket as seen in the teaser trailer for Resident Evil 4 is an actual product? Eagle-eyed viewers such as redgrave187 on the r/residentevil Reddit spotted a copyright disclaimer at the end of the trailer, which after doing some digging, revealed that Capcom got permission from clothing firm Schott N.Y.C. to use their real jacket in Resident Evil 4.
Yes, you can actually buy Leon’s jacket. And much like what happened with Leon’s Resident Evil 6 jacket, you Resident Evil 4 cosplayers be paying a pretty penny for Schott’s Classic B-3 Sheepskin Leather Bomber Jacket, which retails for $1495 USD. At least it comes in a variety of colours.
If that’s too rich for your blood, you can hold out hope that less-expensive knock-offs (such as what happened with Leon’s RE6 jacket) will appear at some point. Or maybe Capcom themselves will be able to work out a deal to offer fans something that’s a little cheaper. Just no $1000 typewriters, please.
Meanwhile, the Resident Evil 4 remake is scheduled for release on March 24, 2023 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC.
