Wolf Creek 2 – The Penis Slice
First of all, I’m really surprised I found that clip on YouTube. Second, I liked Wolf Creek 2 a lot. It was certainly not what I was expecting (since it was a complete tonal shift from its predecessor) but I did enjoy it quite a bit. I still don’t root for Mick, as I find him kind of obnoxious and his victims aren’t unlikable enough for me to not feel bad when they eventually die (sans the cops in the opening scene). It did have plenty of disturbing and gross moments but this one made me cringe the most. I know it’s just a corpse, but the sight of any damage befalling a man’s penis (dead or alive) is just something I never want to see. This is also probably the most explicit imagery of emasculation is the worst thing of its kind I’ve seen since Hostel: Part II. Just…no.
I know we all have different ideas of what we find disturbing so there might be something you feel like I left out!
