Nothing Bad Can Happen – The Maggot-Infested Chicken
I have posted about how pus grosses me out, but maggots are pretty high up there. Don’t judge, but once when I was in college I left the leftovers of a rotisserie chicken in my trash can for a bit too long and maggots got into it. I left the bag by my door for me to take out for the next time I went out. Turns out that was a big mistake. I was picking maggots out of my carpet for hours that night. Needless to say, I have seen maggots up close and personal and they give me the willies each and every time. Watching this scene is one of the grossest things I have ever had to watch on screen and I wish this scene was online so I could show you, but sadly that is not the case. My feelings on the film as a whole are mixed, but this scene is incredibly effective and disturbing.
