The Canal – Corpse Birthing
I liked The Canal just fine. I felt that the twist ending was a little predictable and (minor spoiler) part of it ripped off Ringu in a very obvious way. My minor disappointment with that aside, the film as a whole is pretty creepy. The scene I posted above is definitely something I did not expect to see when I started watching it. I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen a birthin depicted so graphically in a commercial film before so I was pretty shocked when this happened towards the end of the film.
