Heath Ledger – The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus
One of the more tragic deaths on this list, if only because Ledger was so young. Ledger died in his apartment from an accidental overdose of about six different substances. He died fairly early on into the filming of Parnassus, so director Terry Gilliam, while at first assuming the movie would be cancelled, decided to cast Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrel as “alternate reality” versions of Ledger’s character.
