Bruce Lee – Enter the Dragon/The Game of Death
Like his son, Bruce Lee died while working on a film. He was dubbing Enter the Dragon and collapsed in the studio. He died shortly after being rushed to the hospital. His death was attributed to cerebral edema. The exact cause of the edema is still not known today. There was speculation that marijuana was responsible (it was 1973, after all) or that it could have been a combination of the painkillers and muscle relaxants he was taking. His film Game of Death was never completed, though footage from it was used with new footage to make a film (simply titled Game of Death, removing the “The”) that was released five years later.
