Final Destination 5
Who would have ever thought this franchise could revive itself after the abortion that was The Final Destination? Final Destination 2 might be the most fun film in the franchise (Ali Larter’s lackluster death aside), but Final Destination 5 is the best. The prequel twist at the end gets all the attention, but the movie is strong all across the board. The bridge collapse is fantastic, the deaths are inventive (that gymnastics scene is killer) and it’s clear the people behind this film wanted to redeem the franchise. They succeeded.
