A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors
After the disappointing Nightmare On Elm Street 2, New Line brought Wes Craven back to co-write the series’ third installment (one of the other writers was Frank Darabont). That proved to be a wise decision, as Dream Warriors is the best sequel in the franchise (thought some may opt for Wes Craven’s New Nightmare instead). The dream sequences are more inventive and the special effects are top notch. That being said, this is when Freddy started taking on a more comedic persona, so this may be a make-it-or-break-it film for some viewers.
