Saw VI
Saw II is probably the best film in the Saw series, but it is Saw VI that deserves the special mention here. After the disappointments that were Saw IV and Saw V, Saw VI was a welcome addition to the franchise. While attacking the healthcare system, Saw VI tied up many of the loose ends left open in the previous installments (and provided closure to Jigsaw and Amanda’s stories). It breathed new life into a franchise that many thought had expired after the fifth installment. What is so disappointing is that after giving fans hope with Saw VI, we were then subjected to Saw: The Final Chapter, which is arguably the worst film in the franchise.
