The film that some would say started the slasher craze even before Michael Myers broke onto the scene in John Carpenter’s Halloween, Black Christmas is arguably the horror film that most people think of when they think of Christmas and horror mixed together (unless you’re more of a Silent Night, Deadly Night fan). It wasn’t enormously successful upon it’s initial release in December of 1974, but it has since gained a cult following and become known as a classic slasher.
