I’m not sure who at New World thought that opening a movie called Hellbound: Hellraiser II thought it would be a good idea to release the film two days before Christmas, but you’ve got to give them credit for having the balls to give horror fans something this intense in a week that also saw the release of the Academy Award-winning film The Accidental Tourist. Be honest, if you were going to the movies that weekend, you were probably going to see Hellraiser II.
