9. Final Girl

I actually really like Abigail Breslin. She’s had a horror-filled year with this, Maggie and Fox’s Scream Queens, but she seems to get a lot of hate. She’s pretty good in Final Girl, but the same cannot be said for the film itself. Final Girl follows Veronica (Breslin) as she is trained to be a ruthless killer by William (Wes Bentley). She targets a random group of boys who like to kill women for no reason and proceeds to kill them all off one by one. This is a great setup for a film, but unfortunately it doesn’t amount to much, as we spend the majority of the film watching Veronica be chased in the woods by said boys. Final Girl isn’t a terrible film, it’s just a really mediocre one.
