The Witch (February 19, 2016)
Yes, The Witch is fantastic. Robert Eggers’ fantastic period horror film has been the subject of much debate among the horror community ever since it was released on February 19, and while not all of it may be positive, at least we have another horror film that is sparking debate and conversation! That’s the beauty of film as an art form: it lends itself to (hopefully respectful) conversation and debate between not just the horror community, but mainstream audiences as well. I stand by my opinion though: The Witch is an amazing piece of work.
