A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (February 27, 1987)
What can be said about A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors that hasn’t been said already? It’s amazing. It’s the best sequel (and depending on the day I prefer it to the original). It’s fun. It’s got the best group of kids out of the entire franchise. Had I been born two years earlier it would have opened on my birthday (that’s not really relevant, I just wish I was born on the same day this fantastic film was released). It went on to gross $44.7 million, making it the highest grossing film in the series at the time, which is a pretty nice rebound from A Nightmare on Elm Street 2’s $29.9 million haul.
