2. When a Stranger Calls
Let’s pretend for a moment that Camilla Belle can act (she can’t). If that were the case, When a Stranger Calls still wouldn’t be a good film. This particular remake takes the best and arguably only good thing about the original (the opening 20 minutes) and stretches it into a torturous 87 minutes. To top things off, it takes away the one ballsy thing the original did: kill the kids! There’s no suspense, no scares and no entertainment. Other than a surprise appearance by a then relatively unknown Katie Cassidy, this When a Strange Calls is a total snoozer that has no watchability factor whatsoever. Seriously though, Belle is bad in this movie.
