See No Evil 2
I don’t want to say that I thought this movie was going to be good, but with the talent involved expected something that wasn’t generic. It was definitely better than the first See No Evil, but with the Soska Sisters directing (and I like them a lot) and Danielle Harris & Katherine Isabelle starring, it should have been significantly better than what it was. The deaths weren’t that creative (although it did have a pretty nifty throat slashing) and the constant (and I mean constant) flashbacks to the first film were completely unnecessary. What’s even more disappointing is that Isabelle is mostly wasted in the film. See No Evil 2 was never going to be a great movie, but it should have been better than this.
