2. King Diamond “Give Me Your Soul”
King Diamond and Halloween. The two are synonymous to the point where every year I receive several dozen requests from press and radio to interview King for Halloween specials. In fact, I’m heading to the King Diamond show TONIGHT in Hollywood! It will be my first time seeing the legend in action. Finally! The “Give Me Your Soul” video is classic King Diamond. The song is part of the story for “Give Me Your Soul…Please” album, which like many of his other records, is a concept album. The tl;dr version: the album is about the ghost of a murdered child in pursuit of a new soul. There are actual films don’t have stories quite as realized or chilling as King Diamond album concepts. 100% Halloween worthy!
