9. Powerwolf “We Drink Your Blood”
Most every aspect of Powerwolf screams “Halloween.” The face paint, the irreverent lyrics, and over-the-top hooks have all built them up to be one of Germany’s more successful power metal exports. “We Drink Your Blood,” directed by the folks at ambitious films, is anthemic, catchy, vibrant, and it has those “scary” lyrics that make elderly evangelists think D&D is played by actual devil worshippers. Therefore, it’s a whole lot of damn fun! I find it hard to imagine any metal head not finding some aspect of Powerwolf entertaining, for better or worse!
