1. Insidious (66% Rotten Tomatoes)
Yes, you read that right. Insidious is arguably the best movie that Blumhouse has put out. Paranormal Activity put them on the map, but Insidious is what sealed the deal for them. A lot of people believe the film went off the rails in the final act, and while it may lose some of the mysteriousness and tension that the first two acts set up, it’s still a batshit insane and terrifying final act. While I’m not a fan of cheap jump scares, you can’t tell me that this didn’t scare the crap out of you when you saw it in theaters the first time. Also, Lin Shaye is a goddess.
