10. Paranormal Activity 3 (68% Rotten Tomatoes)
It’s not the best reviewed film in the franchise (that would be part 1), but it is the best film in the franchise. Reviews be damned. Paranormal Activity 3 was essentially one long flashback into Katie’s childhood, and while that may have thrown fans off at first, it turned out to be one of the most suspenseful films in the series. The oscillating fan sequence is great and, at 83 minutes, it’s the shortest film in the series, ensuring that it doesn’t overstay its welcome.
