6. The Visit (62% Rotten Tomatoes)
Man, a lot of people seemed to hate this movie. In case you didn’t know, I loved it. It was probably the most fun I’ve had in a theater since Mad Max: Fury Road. Hearing the audience squirm and make sounds of discontent throughout the film’s brief 94-minute runtime was an incredibly entertaining experience. A huge plus was that the kid’s weren’t annoying as kids are wont to be in horror movies, and the dark humor Shyamalan works into the film complements the mounting tension very well.
