The 10 Best Blumhouse-Produced Horror Films!

The Visit Blumhouse

7. Lords of Salem (45% Rotten Tomatoes)

Speaking of divisive, I don’t think there is a horror filmmaker more divisive than Rob Zombie. As someone who thought his remake of Halloween was just okay and absolutely loathed Halloween II, I was wary when heading into Lords of Salem. I shouldn’t have worried. It’s probably his most mature movie after The Devil’s Rejects, and it could have been a mess of a film, but it actually works (for me, anyway). Even the ending, which is pretty much sensory overload works in the films favor, as it essentially takes you into Hell. Rob Zombie may not be a perfect filmmaker, but he was on the right track with Lords of Salem and has me eager for 31.
