4. 13 Sins (62% Rotten Tomatoes)
Otherwise known as “that movie that’s sort of like Cheap Thrills,” 13 Sins is actually the better film (don’t hate me!). Mark Webber plays a salesman who gets a mysterious call from a man who offers him money if he completes various tasks. The tasks start simple (kill a fly, then eat it) and grow increasingly more disturbing. While it’s apparently not as good as the original (the 2006 Thai Film 13 Beloved), it’s still a suspenseful ride. Plus, Ron Perlman’s in it. You can’t go wrong there.
