6. The Ring
The Ring was responsible for ushering in a slew of truly awful J-horror adaptations (except The Grudge. That one is actually pretty good), but it’s actually a pretty decent and terrifying film. Can anyone keep their eyes on the screen when Amber Tamblyn’s corpse flashes on screen? I know I can’t! Boasting the acting chops of Naomi Watts isn’t a bad thing either.
