12.) Cannibal Apocalypse
Starring the guy who played Nancy Thompson’s dad in Nightmare on Elm Street, John Saxon, as a Vietnam vet that brings back a virus that turns people into cannibals, well, it really is more of a zombie film in a way. It’s gory, and it’s got cannibal in the title, which checks off enough boxes to get it prosecuted and banned successfully. It also had a scene involving rats in a sewer that violated the Cruelty to Animals act. The 2005 re-release cut this scene out in order to pass, but it’s been released uncut in the US.
