42.) Inferno
Dario Argento’s follow up to Suspiria, about an American colleges student in Rome that investigates a series of murders by covens of witches, offended the censors for a strange reason; they hated the scene of a cat eating a mouse. The BBFC felt this was in conflict with the Cruelty to Animals act. Once the scene was trimmed, Inferno was dropped from the list and not prosecuted. The uncut version was passed in 2010.
