Umberto Lenzi’s mean cannibal tale was banned in 31 countries, and features the seemingly requisite authentic animal brutality that’s common in cannibal horror. That alone was enough for the film to be successfully prosecuted and banned on the list, but it also happened to be really violent and gory as well. Even in 2000, it was only allowed to pass with heavy cuts, and only available uncut in the US.
