23.) Don’t Go in the House
Intended to be titled The Burning until another film beat it to the punch, this slasher sees its killer stalking women with a flamethrower due to childhood abuse of being burned by his mother. Owing a lot to Psycho, this one found its way onto the list for graphic nudity and burning of the victims. The childhood trauma also made this a touchy one for the DPP. The film re-released with cuts in 1987, and effectively dropped from the list. It finally saw an uncut UK release in 2011.
