60.) The Slayer
A pretty slow supernatural slasher punctuated by moments of well-done gore and a fantastic finale that doesn’t quite payoff the slow parts building up to it; The Slayer most likely ended up on the list for its title alone. Ultimately, it was dropped from the Video Nasties like two years after release, though the film has gone through multiple releases of varying cuts. In the US, The Slayer was released as a double feature with Scalps, and 5 minutes of the film were cut to make room. None of the gore was a part of the cut, which would make this the best version to watch (it’s so slow).
