21.) Delirium
When an ex-solider is hired to be a vigilante, he loses it and targets women instead. While the first half is all out slasher, the second half switches gears into exploring the shady organization that hired the soldier in the first place. I honestly have no idea why this one was targeted, other than its earlier slasher leanings and its exploitive nature of the Vietnam soldier. Perhaps the BBFC couldn’t figure it out, either, because it was dropped from the list and no prosecuted. The BBFC passed the film in 1987 featuring a scant 16 seconds of cuts, and it was re-released under the title Psycho Puppet.
