Clint Howard plays a victim of bullying at a military academy that enacts violent revenge when he stumbles upon a book of black magic. The dog death is upsetting, and one that Howard himself still draws upon when needing to emote sadness on camera, but it’s the gore and nudity during the pig death that landed this on the banned and prosecuted section of the Video Nasties. The film was eventually passed in 2004.
