36.) The Funhouse

Tobe Hooper’s second film to grace the Video Nasties, it’s pretty tame in comparison to pretty much the entire rest of the list. An underrated classic that sees a group of teens slowly picked off one by one when they sneak into a carnival funhouse for the night, there’s not much in the way of gore or even nudity. As such, it’s been widely speculated that perhaps this was a massive mistake; exploitation “snuff” film Last House on Dead End Street, also known as The Fun House. The latter never even made it to the list besides being far more appropriate fare, hence the theory that the wrong Funhouse title made it. Hooper’s film was dropped from the list and released uncut as quick as 1987.
