68.) The Werewolf and the Yeti
One of the 39 successfully prosecuted and banned Video Nasties, this is actually the eighth film about wolf man Waldemar Danisky, played by Paul Naschy. Perhaps the DPP took offense to the character that enjoyed skinning young girls alive, but the film itself is hardly bloody at all and plays more like a Hammer horror movie. Despite the title, there’s not much yeti to be found, with the plot following a group of Sherpas who encounter a pair of cannibalistic lovers who capture Waldemar to be their sex-slave. It was never submitted for re-release in the UK, and has remained in obscurity.
