Featuring a ski-masked killer that slaughters female victims in his apartment complex that he feels need to be taught morality lessons, The Toolbox Murders, though no prosecuted, was banned in the UK from 1982 until 2000. It was only released in 2000 after nearly two minutes were cut for the re-release. The only uncut DVD release was in the US. The various kills by power tools, plus a former porn star getting chased around naked before getting killed by a nail gun, could be seen as a reason why this one was targeted. More likely, though, is that The Toolbox Murders seemed close enough to The Driller Killer.
