48.) The Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue
While a cop is in pursuit of a pair of hippies suspected of a string of murders, the real murderers are the undead brought to life by pesticides. Directed by Spanish director Jorge Grau and shot with a mostly Italian crew, the intent for this to be a color remake of Night of the Living Dead didn’t exactly reach its goal. It was gory in the typical zombie ways, but thanks to censored versions of the home release, the film was eventually dropped and not prosecuted.
