5.) The Beyond
The first of many Lucio Fulci films to make the Video Nasties, this one follows a young woman who inherits a hotel built over one of the gates of hell. Hotel guests were eaten by tarantulas, melted by acid, and eyes gouged out by zombies, a Fulci staple. Because the video release was actually the same cut release as the theatrical version, The Beyond was dropped from the list and never prosecuted. It was finally re-released uncut in the UK in 2001.
