16.) Cannibal Terror
If there was one thing that pretty much guaranteed a spot on the Video Nasties, it was having the word cannibal in the film’s title. About small time crooks that botch a kidnapping, hightail it to the jungle, one of them rapes a friend’s wife, and they’re then left to contend with a local cannibal tribe, the plot sounds more offensive than the reality. Borrowing the same exact set as Jess Franco’s Cannibals, and even some of the same scenes, there wasn’t much that was believable about the final film. The jungle cannibals themselves wear tennis shoes and wedding rings in contradiction to their loin cloth costumes. As such, it was never prosecuted and dropped.
