32.) Flesh for Frankenstein

Produced by Andy Warhol and originally shot in 3D, this campy horror sees Udo Kier as Dr. Frankenstein looking to create a master race. His character also happens to be in an incestuous relationship with his sister and bears a strong affection for necrophilia. Oh, and it’s pretty gory. All of this spelled a perfect recipe for the DPP to prosecute. I suppose they didn’t appreciate the humor. The film eventually passed, with cuts, in 1996 before being released fully uncut in 2006. Strangely, Warhol’s even gorier sister film Blood for Dracula was never pursued.
